Kaiser & Waltermann is founded on 01.09.1968 by Bernhard Kaiser and Johannes Waltermann as manufacturing company of tubular rivets. The range of products comprises tubular rivets according to DIN 7340 and fine tube components.

After a short start-up period as a "garage operation", suitable premises are rented in Amecke-Illingheim and the production of tubular rivets is extended.

At today’s site in Sundern-Amecke the construction of first office and company premises is accomplished. The number of production machines is increased to 25.

A three-storey extension is added to this building and the number of machines increases to 60. A warehouse is also set up.

A new office building is constructed and an additional neighbouring plot of 6000 square metres is acquired. Responding to increasing requirements of the plastic industry, the product line is extended by the surface finishing “vibratory grinding” (trowalizing).

A new 840 square metre warehouse with a separate approach road and goods receiving area is constructed.

Operation in the new warehouse starts. First certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9002 are received. At the same time an internal reorganization and modernization is carried out to adapt the company’s structures to its development.
