Application

Tubular rivets, parts made of tube, pins and hulls are cylindrical connecting elements. In this application tubular rivets are used to fix several components. A rivet is malleable and first of all it is applied for assembling: the permanent connection of components. Our rivets are made of brass, copper, copper-nickel, aluminium, bronze, steel and stainless steel. Holes have to be drilled to connect components by using rivets. These drilled holes need to have a bigger diameter than the rivet itself. The rivet is formed by pushing it through this hole. Like this the components are firmly connected. In contrast to a screw connection, this method doesn’t need a thread. Our cylindrical connecting elements can also act as spacer, an application that is often used in the electrical industry.
